Early-stage terms for BlockSentinel.
1. Service Description
BlockSentinel provides on-chain monitoring, risk alerts, analytics, and proposal packaging tools for DeFi protocol teams. BlockSentinel does not take custody of funds, does not interact with protocol contracts automatically, and does not execute transactions on behalf of users.
2. No Guarantee of Exploit Prevention
BlockSentinel is an informational monitoring tool. It does not guarantee the detection or prevention of exploits, losses, or protocol failures. Users remain fully responsible for their own security decisions and actions.
3. No Financial or Investment Advice
All information provided by BlockSentinel is for informational and technical purposes only and should not be considered financial, investment, or legal advice.
4. Multisig and Guard Actions
BlockSentinel may generate suggested defensive proposals. All such proposals require user approval through a multisig or governance process. BlockSentinel does not execute protocol changes autonomously.
5. Beta / Early-Stage Disclaimer
BlockSentinel is an early-stage product. Features may change, contain bugs, or be discontinued at any time. Use at your own risk.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlockSentinel and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial losses arising from use of the service, including but not limited to protocol exploits, loss of funds, or missed alerts.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Users are responsible for validating alerts, reviewing proposals, securing their own infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
8. API and Service Use
You agree not to misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, or use BlockSentinel for illegal or harmful purposes. We may limit or suspend access to protect system stability.
9. No Affiliation
BlockSentinel is an independent monitoring service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any specific blockchain protocol unless explicitly stated.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
